Martin Vyroubal

No picture available Martin was the fourth person to join dyssia after Patrick was recruited to join Hank and Petar. A linguistics student from the Czech Republic studying at Carleton University, he met Hank while volunteering at CKCU-FM and managed to talk himself into an audition. Martin may not have had the smoothest voice but he had enthusiasm to spare. dyssia never got to perform live with Martin (which was a shame as he was very entertaining) but he gave us lasting memories such as singing "Traktorist" at the top of his lungs.

Martin developed a serious skin condition and was forced to leave the band when he returned to the Czech Republic to seek treatment. We haven't heard from Martin in years so we don't know if he's still part of any music scenes. If you should meet or know Martin, please ask him to drop us a line as we'd love to hear from him.
