Chantal Roach

Chantal Roach Chantal brought a lot of presence and heart to the band, joining dyssia following a brief hiatus from the Ottawa music scene. Like Patrick, she was a veteran musician as she had sang and played guitar with local punk icons Black Triangle for several years. A songwriter and lyricist in her own right, Chantal co-wrote "Inkwell" with Hank and participated in the "For Posterity's Sake" recording sessions. While she wasn't with dyssia for a long time, Chantal had a major impact on the band's development as she brought a wealth of experience and ability to the group.

Since dyssia's breakup, Chantal has dropped out of the music scene but continues to live in Ottawa with her family.
