Who are The (original) Gutterboys? What can you say about them?

You could say that they were like the world's greatest Rock 'n' Roll band. You could SAY that but not many people would believe you. Still, four guys got together for a time and they had something... quite special.

However you want to describe them, they were definitely larger than life; greater than the sum of the individual members' talents. Ottawa's own The Gutterboys had (and occasionally continue to have) a style and a sound that is all their own.

Why?

For the love of the music, what else?

Now while it's true that The Gutterboys "officially" retired WAAAAAY back in 1991, there have been a significant number of reunions over the intervening years. A sufficient number that while the likelihood of the band resuming full-time activity once more is slim, you never know when the opportunity might come up to catch these overgrown delinquents live on stage.
