Crawling In The Culvert Tour
These shots were taken in August 1990 during our epic journey across the bar and nightclub wastelands of Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.

The most exhausting part of the tour was the long drives between venues so we napped whenever we could.

Finances were always tight so we found ourselves looking for spare change quite often.

One of the more glamourous stops on the tour.

The `boys on Cannon Ball Island
A definite highlight of the tour.
Who needs sleep?
Jamming out to some rockin' tunes.

Ray at The Warehouse in Moncton
A different kind of performance.
The Gutterboys performing at The Warehouse
Where the patrons walked on a thick carpet of discarded peanut shells.
Patrick channeling Bjorn Bjorg
The hair. The headband. Where's the tennis racket?
Sharing a microphone
Todd and Ray singing in unison.
Bashing on the drum kit
Believe it or not but that orange pillow in the bass drum originally came all the way from Germany.
J.P. performing at Call The Office in London, Ontario
Wearing a band T-shirt, no less!
Patrick and Todd confirming the set list
A lot of onstage conversations revolved around which song came next.
Ray and Todd at Clinton's in Toronto
Sadly that storied venue has recently closed but this was a fun gig on the tour.
Todd and J.P. at Clinton's in Toronto
Todd singing backup while J.P. sings lead.
Which way are we going?
Somewhere on the Cabot Trail in Nova Scotia.
Ray modelling his T-shirt
Also somewhere on the Cabot Trail in Nova Scotia.
Patrick holding up the guard rail
And also somewhere on the Cabot Trail in Nova Scotia.
J.P. and flower
Most likely somewhere on the Cabot Trail in Nova Scotia.
